“Czeslawa” was murdered on Valentine’s Day, inside the dreaded German NAZI concentration & extermination camp, Auschwitz on February 14th 1943, as a medical experiment by being injected with phenol directly into her heart.

Just before her murder, the “Medical Execution” was photographed by a prisoner named Whilem Brasse, who later spoke out against the executioner, who had also slapped Czeslawa hard in the face, before the photo was taken, as seen by the bruise on her lip.

In the photo, we see the face of a strong & determined young girl who didn’t even speak the German language, and thus did not know the fate that awaited her. It is is important to know that Czeslawa who had just lost her mother a few days earlier, was all done in the camp and yet she tried to shelter other children in her pallet…

She was one of about 250,000 children and young people murdered at Auschwitz-Birkenau.

A quarter of a Million souls…

Imagine that.

The original black-and-white photo of Cezlawa, was kept at the Oświęcim Holocaust Memorial museum, and it was later colorized by Brazilian photographer Anna Amaral, who was moved by the image of Czeslawa and wanted to share it in full color with the world.

Today, she is the most vivid memory of a VALENTINE long ago, when inhumanity bred evil, and evil bred far more evil and hateful people…

Its important to remember all that, and yet, we have got to know her last name, to honor her.

A young victim as such is important to not go nameless; so if anyone out there knows — please share with us, Czeslawa’s family name.

Please do this even as a small act of kindness, to help restore her Humanity by saying her full name… and in consequence restore our Faith in Humanity too.

Thank You

Happy Valentine’s to you and yours.

Yours,

Dr Churchill
