It takes genius to start a gigantic technology project — such as the New Concorde, yet it takes a lot more courage and hard labour, full of blood, sweat, & tears, to be able to continue onwards, upwards, & towards completion.
And then the eventual success … might arrive as a visitor in the middle of the night — when after a couple of decades you are declared an overnight success.
Trust me this is how it works.
You do not have to take my word for it…
Because as someone rather more wise, once said…:
“There is one simple truth, the ignoring of which has destroyed countless ideas and brilliant intentions: as soon as you have made a decision, God’s Providence takes your side. Even the impossible comes to your rescue. Your decision generates a stream of unforeseen events that benefit you, the most unexpected things happen, you get such material support that no one dares to even dream of. You can do whatever you want, just start. Courage generates genius, strength and magic. Start immediately.”

“Goethe at the age of 79”
Joseph Karl Stieler’s oil painting, 1828
It is said that Goethe had one interesting habit – he filled his pockets with flower seeds. And wherever he went, he slowly scattered them. When Goethe died, there were many roads left in Germany, which were completely sown with flowers. Wherever he walked, flowers bloomed.
